The Messenger, The Assassin, The Seeker, by Pamela DuMond, I read as a package. I have read a lot of books by this witty author and this series by far is the very best. It is apparent that a great deal of research, work and thought went into this original, absorbing and entertaining group of books. I was riveted by the fascinating storyline set in different periods around the world. I was most impressed with the colourful personality and humour of the main character as well as the detail of each time period where the story was set. I hope there will be more books with the character of Madeline Blackwood as although a teen, she had depth and was an entertaining person going through real problems trying to solve mysteries over centuries. I consider this author to be accomplished with these works and can’t wait to read what she has in store for us next! I highly recommend this whole series and will be telling my friends all about it!
