The Painter's Canvas

Prior to the formation of the United Nations of the Universe the people lived under the rule of the Union of Human Provinces. It is the year 7247 and John lives a peaceful life in the Irish countryside. Despite the look of a carefree and passionate man John attempts to hide his melancholy as his wife is dying. The one person who filled his life with joy weighs heavy in John's heart as he has to face the reality of becoming a single father. Soon John will have to decide what's best for both him and his sons when the government asks him to undertake a massive project in preparation for the celebration of the nation's 5000th anniversary. John now has to decide if he can ever find the will to pick up a paint brush or let his grief overwhelm him.
