The Parenting Handbook could not have been gifted to me at a better time, and let me tell you; this book is truly a gift.
Schamuhn and Johnson have created a guidebook that helps parents navigate through all stages of parenting with grace using relatable stories and helpful tips; but, more importantly they emphasize the “why” and in simple terms teach the reader what makes a child act a certain way and how to guide them through their big emotions.
Since finishing The Parenting Handbook I have shifted my parenting strategies and have seen a calmness settle in our home. I’m not saying we’ve become a Disney family, but understanding what my child is experiencing in their brain has helped me guide them through their emotions and hopefully, over time, my children will grow into resilient humans.
I am truly thankful for Schamuhn and Johnson for sharing their wisdom.
