Publisher Description
When life hands you a hunky, rich hockey player…say yes.
But Cassandra isn’t used to accepting help—and especially not from a sweet-talking, hunky man with more cash than she’s seen in her lifetime. And anyway, she’s got problems that are bigger than his bank account…
Single dad Landon isn’t used to hearing no. Especially when he knows the only thing holding Cass back from agreeing to be his nanny is her pride and unfounded fears.
How can he convince her that he’s worth counting on when it comes to helping her sick son, and she’s the best thing for his headstrong young daughter?
It’s hard to keep saying no.
Especially when love starts to grow…
Too bad they agreed to live together out of convenience—and not out of love.
Is it too late to change their deal?
Find out in The Peppermint Lodge, a standalone sweet romance set in the small town of Sweetheart Creek, Texas. Enjoy hockey players, ranchers, single moms and single dads, crazy errant armadillos, laughter and tears all within this sweet relationship of convenience romance.

The Peppermint Lodge
This is a voluntary review not a story summary.
As always Jean Oram never fails to deliver a wonderful read.
I found this book a bit hard to follow at the first but once I got into the story it all made sense. I love that her novels are usually full of real life obstacles that people deal with daily and through it all they manage to emerge into a HEA.
Being a fellow Canadian, I enjoy when there is a reference to home in her books.
Enjoyable book
I really enjoyed this well-written book. The story flowed nicely and the characters are very likeable. Another successful effort by Jean Oram.
Feel good HEA!
Jean Oram has become a favourite author very quickly for her happily ever afters, funny character interactions and just darn good writing! This one, and I’m not just saying this because I got a free copy to review, is just like all the others that made me love this author. The HEA helped, but the down on her luck girl getting the guy? And the adorable kids?! Such a fun read, that took me just under 24 hours since it also sucks you in!
100% recommend.
