The perfect couple
Great book until the last chapter. Didn’t feel the ending was enough. What about Celeste’s parents? Does Celeste end up with shooter?
Unexpected
After reading every one of her previously wonderful books, I found Elin Hilderbrand’s “The Perfect Couple” to be a disappointment. The plot is basically a murder mystery, and although the time line switchs back and forth, my biggest concern was the large number of main characters. I felt, as a result, few of them were fully developed; therefore I was not completely invested in them.
The mystery itself continually held my interest, although I personally found the resolution somewhat flat and disappointing.
I highly anticipate Ms. Hilderbrand’s next release this fall, as I’m sure all of her avid readers are.

I loved it! I’m just getting back to reading and I ended up picking a great book that got me wanting to read so much more..
