The Phantom Pollinator

The first in a charming new graphic novel series: When summer arrives without any fruits or vegetables, best friends Ghost and Bat must solve the mystery of what—or who—is missing from their garden.

Summer has finally arrived and Ghost and Bat can’t wait to tend to their blossoming garden. But while they should be swimming in strawberries and up to their eyeballs in pumpkins, their garden is suspiciously empty! Instead of panicking, the two friends decide to turn this spooky mystery into a spooktacular adventure. As they interview the different animals living around their beloved home, Ghost and Bat realize that someone might not be destroying their garden, someone might be missing from it. To help their garden thrive, the friends must unearth clues and harvest evidence to hunt down their missing pollinator—who may be closer than they think . . .

The Phantom Pollinator launches a brilliant new children’s graphic novel series from beloved picture book artist Jen White that’s full of spookiness, grounded science, and heart.
