Bitter family, not well written, petty and self serving
I bought this after reading a house in the sky (which is excellent!!). I was shocked to read in just the first few pages how bitter, blaming and seemingly self serving, on the Brennan’s family’s part, to the point of it being almost offensive. most of the book is written by his angry and bitter family members and only a portion written from his perspective which was more compassionate. All you need to read is A House in the Sky. It doesn’t lay blame, is detailed and raw and has a message of compassion. This book was a waste of my money. I felt guilty supporting them by buying it actually.
