I loved the story.

I don't like this story at all. I've read the Cassie Palmer series and love them. This was too simplistic. In the author's defense, I hate short stories and only read them because they are free :p. Although I think if she had stuck to a character that she had already fleshed out in a full length book, she could have done a lot better.
