More of the same old
This book, just like all Left Behind Books, seems like a segment of a bigger book. This whole prequel trilogy should have been just one bigger book. But I guess the powers that be at the publishing house saw a trilogy as a way to milk more money out of readers who have already spent a small fortune on the following 14 books.
Should you buy it? Its up to you. I got curious from having read the whole series years ago. But really, its a light read filled with one dimensional characters.
Also, why is it called ‘The Regime’? What regime? I thought Evil was advancing. All it is mostly about is a teenage daughter who hates her nagging mom -who lacks any common sense btw- and an Antichrist who accomplishes his evil deeds via Deu Ex Machina. Do not expect to read how the evil antichrist puts his plan into motion, instead, be ready for lines like: “And one morning, the car exploded."
