Disappointing end to a long wait
Let me say that I loved the series - the ideas, the characters, and the universe itself.
So in saying that, I do want to express my disappointment on this last novel. After waiting 4 years, I did not expect such a rushed ending. It simply felt like 3 novels that were squeeshed into one - you could almost feel the author’s desire to come to an end.
The characters have become charades and shadows of their former selves. The endless blushing, strange tones of agreement and quick submissions from initially expressed grievances… just… what happened?
