Darker than her previous novels, Susin peoples this novel about the ultimate cost of bullying with a cast of fabulous characters, dark humour, and a lovable, difficult protagonist struggling to come to terms with the horrible crime his brother has committed.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
When Henry’s brother commits an awful crime, his shattered family must move to a new city. As 13-year-old Henry struggles to cope with what he calls “IT,” a psychologist asks him to keep a journal, a process that Henry detests at first. But he soon begins recording his thoughts and experiences a couple times a day, frankly tackling his grief and guilt. The deft, insightful writing of Susin Nielsen (author of Dear George Clooney: Please Marry My Mom) keeps this novel lightly funny yet powerfully affecting as Henry gradually makes friends and constructs a new life out of the darkness of his past.

Amazing... Goes in the MUST READS if you ask me.
We are reading it for class. Amazing book, really dark though, if you ask me. Who would kill someone over bulling?
