The Renfield Syndrome

Caspian was the victim of an abusive mother. Taking her anger out on him from the first days of his life created what would later become a monster. Later, he became plagued by an aggressive voice driven by a deep psychosis. Most of the time he managed to fight it-to keep it in its cage. But as in most mental illnesses, there is a trigger, and the one that drove Caspian off the edge was the commission of an unspeakable crime. Then he met Camilla, a beautiful goth girl. He thought he had found his place amongst like-minded people, but what he found later drove him away. Meanwhile, the voice in his head became intense enough that it took him over completely, and its self-serving nature only wanted one thing.
