Welcome to Penslave, a small town with a bizarre and mysterious style of old buildings, shops, people and secrets. From the moment Marva and her family moved to the mansion there, the place gave her negative vibes, especially when she thought she heard voices coming from her bedroom. But her father assured her that everything was going to be okay.

From the strange earthquake that only rattled her home, to the mirror that seems to come alive, Marva is both intrigued and worried about what she witnesses around her. Even after making friends at her new high school, she just can't seem to fit in, thanks to rumors related to the previous tenant in the house, Mrs. Brenda.

There are some deep secrets she's determined to uncover, even if her life depends on it. Everyone knows Mrs. Brenda murdered her own son. But now, she's nowhere to be found and no one is talking about why. As a matter of fact, killing seems to be some sort of game in Penslave… at least for those actually doing the deadly deeds.

Who… or what… will give her the answers she seeks? And will uncovering those secrets wreak havoc on the town and her family? Or is it all just her imagination?
