Will Plumb had always loved grey Plymouth with its scattered, splendid swamps. It was a place where he felt concerned.
He was a caring, cold-blooded, beer drinker with pretty abs and charming feet. His friends saw him as a tart, tired teacher. Once, he had even made a cup of tea for a few baby. That's the sort of man he was.
