The Rico Saga

RICO 1
When 12-year-old Dmitri Burke’s father is murdered, he provides a steady income for his family by running numbers for Mafia boss, Paul D’Annunzio. His plans to establish his own crime family are derailed when he takes a murder rap for his boss.

Dmitri Burke is about to put plans in motion so he and the members of the Commission can retire comfortably as legitimate businessmen. But someone behind the scenes has been pulling strings. And Dmitri and other crime families begin pointing fingers.

Being the boss of the Commission comes with a price. There’s always someone shooting for the crowning spot. Nzinga Burke finds this out the hard way when she’s nearly killed in a car explosion and Anthony Harrison is shot up in his car outside his home.

As the final chapter of the RICO saga draws to an end, Nzinga Burke is faced with yet another threat. This time she cannot use her usual means to alleviate the opposing threat. Hopefully, the past may shine some light on who her new adversary is, and hopefully soon … before she spends the rest of her life in federal prison
