The Riemann Conundrum

This portfolio features 20 illustrations and original mathematical models from the Riemann family of minimal surfaces, set against the geometric background of Minoan culture. Riemann’s work on surfaces in higher-dimensional space was guided by intuitive reasoning. Cretan Minoan art is full of symbols and abstract shapes.
