The Rise

Tamara Clark reveals the evolution and rise of robots as she remembers it. Though she never owns a robot herself, her job is at one time threatened by them, and many of her friends own their own specialized metal companions. She tells the story from an unknown date in the future and tells how she feels about the "bots" and "trons" who begin as servants and grow to become something that rivals humans in the workforce and in American society.
