Some of the best fantasy ever written

The first 3 sword books are fun to read and exude originality.
To me they are akin to tolkien and the concept of elves dwarves and hobbits. In that the idea of magic swords in contemporary fiction are all attributable to Saberhagen heh.
I read a lot of fantasy and most feel like eating a bag of candy. Sweet but empty calories.
These are full meals!
