William Chambers the ninth Duke of Bedford is sacrificing his freedom to marry an heiress sight unseen to save the Dukedom, he hopes at least she'll have all her teeth and be passably pretty. They find that they both exceed each others expectations and after a few mishaps find themselves as husband and wife.
Armed with a naughty courtesan's diary Francesca is ready to seduce the Duke and get with child to return back to America as per the marriage clause.
The attraction is sizzling and William can't keep his hands to himself with his new bride he's convinced she's not a virginal miss but an experienced woman in bed-sport. Now he's wondering if she's in the family way with another mans child.
This was a great story, from the beginning we saw two people who came together in marriage from different backgrounds. Both are looking for acceptance and love, William has trust issues, the heat his wife makes him feel is something he's never experienced and all he wants is to take what is his right as her husband. Lots of twists and secrets to be revealed keep the pages turning. A scorned mistress, blackmail a secret diary and abduction will test the fragile bonds of love for William and Francesca.
Fast paced and highly entertaining with plenty of heat you'll definitely need a fan.
