The Seeding - Dracukin Pumcula

Instead of endowing his protagonists with special powers against the hurdles they have to overcome, the protagonist in The Seeding, Book One, has to think the problems through and solve them with abilities available to regular humans.

Set in rural Bridgeport, Indiana, The Seeding features an aging couple, Jacob and Kirsten Andersen, their farm, their daughter Esther and her family, who live in a nearby subdivision. The neighboring farm family, the Weatheralds, are embroiled in a controversy around seeds.

The elderly couple is also being harassed by a home building company and seed selling company.

A strange event occurs on the farm followed by a number of deaths in the neighborhood.
No one knows who’s responsible, except those who have seen the vampire pumpkin in action. With his family on the verge of falling apart, Aaron, Jacob’s grandson, on the cusp of winning the state football championship, decides to take matters into his own hands.
