For Mary the decision was easy: she hadn’t planned on it, wasn’t ready for it, and had no plans of being with the father. So the baby had to go. And all it would take was a discreet trip to the clinic. When she spots the picketers she stops and pretends to shop at the Christmas curio sidewalk stand.
