The Sunshine Play

One hot summer night, on a Bucharest rooftop. DAN, a stranger who has just returned from Colombia, after a failed marriage and an arrest, regains hope and decides to start over in his native country with the unexpected help of an odd couple of ex-future fiancées: the undecided IZA, and the impulsive TRIFON, her Bulgarian lover. With them, Dan plans a trip to the seaside, in his hometown, where he will meet his mother, after many years of separation. Facing failure, an ever-changing future, fears, and hopes, the cool morning sunshine brings a bittersweet and unexpected resolution to their story.
