This book is primarily based on the Thomas family that originated in Wales and immigrated to Virgina in the early 1600s. From there, some branches migrated to North and South Carolina. Information in the book was gathered from books, articles, family papers and electronic sources which include the research of many others.Although source references are given in some cases,crediting all sources was out of the question and never attempted due to the large number of individuals.
