The Three Ballerinas

The Three Ballerinas is the inspiring story of Arianna, an Indonesian living in the California winery, and the extraordinary depth of her love for her two autistic children, and the sacrifices she makes as a single mother to enable them to live independent, productive lives. Her first born, Nina, grows up in a solitary world, unable to interact with other children, and beset by baseless fears, typical of autism. Eventually, due to Arianna's hard work in securing medical help, while struggling against the intolerance and cruelty of people unaware of the manifestations of autism, Nina becomes independent and studies art in Italy. She creates a masterpiece based on her lonely youth, entitled "The Three Ballerinas."
