The Time Machine The Time Machine

Publisher Description

The book's protagonist is an English scientist and gentleman inventor living in Richmond, Surrey, identified by a narrator simply as the Time Traveller. The narrator recounts the Traveller's lecture to his weekly dinner guests that time is simply a fourth dimension, and his demonstration of a tabletop model machine for travelling through it. He reveals that he has built a machine capable of carrying a person, and returns at dinner the following week to recount a remarkable tale.

At Cricket House Books we strive to craft an aesthetically pleasing product that complements (rather than distracts) the timelessness of the author’s masterpiece. By paying special attention to formatting, punctuation, and style, we aim to provide the reader with editions of classic books that look much more like a book and less like a webpage or text document. And we hope that our readers, consider that as something of value. Enjoy the read!
