The Tolerance Bureau

Jim Rogan is an agent of the Tolerance Bureau. The Bureau is a federal agency of the New Regime empowered to monitor social media to suppress all dissent against the government. Dare to question the government, express an opinion or share news that the Supreme Leader finds offensive, and the Bureau will come looking for you.

That's where Jim Rogan comes in. His job is to drag dissenters away in the night, and make sure they get incarcerated in a federal re-education camp. Jim really believes in his job, he really believes he's doing what's best for the country - until the day he discovers the awful truth about what really happens inside those re-education camps.

The story follows Hillary Wells, famous astrophysicist, who was crazy enough to express a dissenting opinion on social media, and is labelled a cerebral terrorist. Hillary tries to run, but the Tolerance Bureau has assigned Special Agent Jim Rogan to track her down and bring her in for mandatory re-education in a federal 'camp'.

But when Jim discovers the shattering truth about the re-education camps, he's faced with an impossible decision, and no matter what direction he takes, his life - and the life of everyone he knows and loves - will be forever changed.

The Tolerance Bureau is set in a near future that is becoming all too plausible... in which disagreeing with the government is considered cerebral terrorism.
