One of childhood favourites

I remember reading this book long time ago after we had to read the Hatchet in grade 7 or 8. I read this book after the Brian series and this was my favourite Gary Paulsen book. To give an idea of how the book is I can compare it to a long episode of stargate the tv show. The main character is in a completely alien environment inhabited by alien cultures trying to survive and find his way back. It was a great book. I've been looking for a paper copy for month but can't find it anywhere. Need to read this again soon
