The second novelette in the Seffin Phel series. Seffin left his home to find something bigger; but now, the future he's chosen could lead straight to his doom. He's apprenticed to the greatest crime lord in the kingdom, and that association has landed him in the middle of a plot that could cripple the Kingdom of Mer'cil.
