About the Author



Her writing skills, honed with a career as food editor of a leading restaurant magazine, copy writer for top advertising agencies, publicist and market executive, all helped her articulate trauma and the emotional topography of rape and the blistering consequences. Art has also given her depth of expression as her canvases and drawings related back to her early personal trauma. She finds solace writing or painting wine country scenes but her book poignantly reflects the times when women had no say in their own productive rights. Relevant now more than ever.
