The moral of this story is: "Don't take friends to Baja Mexico, that you intend to keep."

Twenty years ago, my wife Susan and I, took two sets of friends to Baja Mexico for a six week trip.

This is a non-fiction account of that disastrous trip, and the incidents that befell one set of those friends. The memories of that trip have lasted...the friendship didn't.

This adventure gave me insight into Baja Mexico...you either love it...or you don't. There really is no in between. Once visited, you're either preparing for your next visit, or you aren't.
In spite of this vacation from hell, Susan and I loved it. We returned for many subsequent adventures, and ultimately chose to live in the Mulege' area full time.
