The Value of Nothing

This book discusses the work in the 2009 exhibition The Value of Nothing. Within the exhibition, four pieces take playful positions on their status as commodities and their relationship to value and exchange. The four pieces are united in an installation that positions with work within a deserted commercial gallery. The work places the commodity, instead of in the physical art object, in the immateriality of the economic value and the moment of exchange.
