The Vamp Upstairs

She bought the shop. Nobody mentioned what lived upstairs.

After a humiliating divorce, Nara Wilkes is ready to begin again.

Her new Victorian gift shop offers everything she needs: independence, beautiful surroundings, and enough work to keep painful memories safely buried.

Then a black top hat appears among her displays.

It does not belong to her. No customer left it behind. And whenever Nara touches it, the old building seems to wake around her.

Floorboards creak above rooms that are supposed to be sealed. Music drifts through the ceiling after dark. Someone is watching from inside the walls.

When the shop closes, Nara discovers that some secrets have been waiting a very long time to be found.

And some appetites are impossible to ignore.

The Vamp Upstairs is a witty, sensual paranormal romance novella about starting over, forbidden temptation, and the dangerously charming stranger who comes with the building.

A revised and expanded edition for adult readers.
