They never expected it to be wrapped in a national security threat, with the ex-boyfriend linked to a right-wing Senator racing the FBI for a mysterious time bomb known as the Apocalypse Mask.
At every step, they face professional assassins, corrupt government officials, and ideological fanatics. With the clock ticking and body count rising, each detective must rely on the other’s expertise to survive...then save the country.
