The Water Rider and the High Born Fae

Alba may be the most celebrated water rider under the mountain, but she knows she's not for the likes of the high born fae, and especially not for Leo, the mysterious, intriguing son of Axus, who sits at the right hand of their leader. When Alba snags a rare treasure, she finds herself in Leo's path, and then they discover a secret their leaders don't want them to know.

The Water Rider and the High Born Fae is a short story set in the Shadow and Ash world. It's set under the Fae'ch Mountains, and takes place alongside the story in Kingdoms of Shadow and Ash, during the time when Fyia, the new Queen of the Five Kingdoms comes to visit.
