Sometimes, you just gotta dare to suck.

Instead of the world ending in 2012, the majority of the population turned into were-beings of their totem animal. Peter, Quinn, Romeo, and Sam are four (loser) shapeshifter teens (platypus, mosquito, piranha, sloth) who also happen to be best friends and members of a (honestly quite terrible) garage band. But the local Battle of the Bands is happening--on the full moon--and the boys are forced to turn to Sam's non-were (and so super Goth) sister Natalie to help them out...

"With some high school level humor and swearing, this was not the kids book I thought it was."
-Phx17, Audible reviewer
"I almost quit reading this after the first chapter. I am glad I didn't. I really enjoyed the story. Now I have to read 'The Were Four.'"
-Roscoe, on When Tinker Met Bell
"There was great emphasis on friendship, empathy, and patience and this helped to deliver a light-hearted and delightful story! The characters were creative, positive, and multi-dimensional. I particularly loved the backstory and characterization of Sam and Natalie."
-Midwest Bonsai, on When Tinker Met Bell
"Tinker's friends Hubble, Sam and Natalie are the best friends anyone could ask for, loyal, caring, helpful and supportive. Sam and Natalie are characters from a short story created several years ago 'The Were Four.' It is an incredibly adorable and comical short story. It features four boys who have their own band and play not so nice music. Peter, Romeo, Quinn, Sam, four lame shapeshifters (platypus, mosquito, piranha, sloth), and Natalie, Sam's sister are the featured characters. There are no other characters in the story, and they are not necessary. I always get amazed when a storyteller is capable of telling a full complete story in so few pages.
The reason I read this story was to learn more about Sam and Natalie, and although this story dates several years prior to the creation of Nocturne Falls, they fit perfectly. I wish, however, that the author finds a way to include Peter, Quinn and Romeo in future NFU stories. I would like to read more about the whole group."
-Myriam, on When Tinker Met Bell
"A wonderful blend of optimism, friendship, and relatable situations that we all find ourselves in. It was a lot of fun to spend time in a world where friends come together to overcome what seems impossible odds."
-Caro Johnson
"Alethea spun a creative story in such a way that the reader knows but doesn't really know how the outcome would be. I can't wait to read more of Alethea"s books!"
