They Called Him Sudden

Lots of folks left the mountains of Tennessee for free land in the west. Josh Bonners folks were just among the many that year, but something a little different happened to him. By the time he was seventeen he was without family, no particular destination, without friends or friendly guidance. Chance, not reason, played an important part of his growing up fast. The decisions he made, even small ones, played an important role in his life. How he became a man able to make his own way and the lives that were affected by his is a story worth knowing. Because  there is a little bit of Sudden in all of us. Some of the pranks told about as well as some of the incidents were taken from real life stories of the late eighteen hundreds.
