Benny Hanover enjoyed telling tales and sharing memories of growing up in his hometown of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina during the 1930s, '40s and '50s. During those carefree and hardworking days, his boy-to-man adventures were filled with near prescient bodings of his mother, steadfast presence of his father and everyday amusements and exploration with his friends.
