Publisher Description
Rule #1: Do not fall for your brother’s best friend.
Rule # 2: Absolutely do not fall for your brother’s best friend.
Rule # 3: Don’t break the rules.
Shay Martin is my best friend’s little sister, and years ago I crossed a line I swore I’d never cross again. One kiss with Shay nearly wrecked my self-control—and I’ve been trying to forget it ever since.
Then, she comes back to Stolen Hearts Valley with nowhere else to go. Now she’s living in my house.
Shay is trouble. The kind of trouble that makes a man forget every rule he’s ever made. Every look, every laugh, every moment she’s across the hall makes it harder to pretend she’s just my best friend’s sister.
I should keep my distance. Instead, I’m falling harder than ever.
A swoony small-town firefighter romance featuring brother’s-best-friend tension, forced proximity, friends-to-lovers chemistry, slow-burn heat, emotional stakes, and a fiercely protective hero who falls hard.

Add more to the story
I enjoyed reading the book. I think you should add more to the story and not left off where she’s pregnant it would be nice to know what she’s having or if she has any complications and how their life is going to go after having a child
Jackson & Shay
Enjoyed their story and loved that the epilogue was split into two parts. Shay had quite the awful background and she was an absolute warrior for surviving that trauma. Jackson also experienced deep grief in his past, and while it was briefly touched upon, it was never discussed in full between Shay and Jackson.
The chemistry between the two was palpable and stemmed back to when they were growing up. I loved the sense of family on the farm, between all the staff at the rescue and lodge.
Good read!
It was a little cheesy, but very sexy, and I could not stop reading. Would recommend :-).
