This is South America

“This is South America” - is a personal photo scrapbook made from the collection of images taken during my trip to South America that took place between February and April of 2010. Traveling around this great continent in such a short time it is impossible to visit all the interesting places, so out of necessity we had limit our trip to see the places that seemed important only to us. We certainly do not regret that choice. We had the opportunity to meet the most interesting people who were both, open to greet us with their hospitality and, I’m sure, as much curious about us as we were about them. We saw fantastic landscapes of magnificent beauty, surpassing the dreams of our youth about this land. We also have had the chance to sample the exotic local cuisine, famous for its use of quinoa, potatoes, seafood, lamb, beef and of course the wine. Indeed, the incredible taste of a juicy steak and a local wine at the family owned restaurant in Mendoza, Argentina or the Brazilian feijoada, or the Inca inspired Peruvian food is going to savor in our memories for the long time. In fact, in recent times, Peruvian cuisine has been regarded by the international media and professional cooks as the “best of Latin America”.
