Writhing

Exposed raw nerves

Like downed power lines

Deadly live wires

Anxiety like a nest full of snakes

Oily bullets with engraved names

Waiting to be loaded

Into magazines full of sadness

Hopeless dead ends

Why this tumble of thoughts

Where am I going?
