Thor’s Ark

Humanity is capable of creating sublime works of beauty and scenes of utter devastation, acts of generosity and love, as well as, unspeakable cruelty and greed. We seem to be on "the eve of destruction." Are we doomed by our very nature to self-immolation? Thor's Ark is an extensive brainstorm that suggests a way out of our self-imposed demise while entertaining with an imaginative adventure. Roger Daley, a seemingly ordinary old man, is recruited by Thor, an alien, to join a band of humans on the Ark, an enormous interstellar space ship bound for a new but lifeless planet. Hostile aliens attempt to destroy the ark, Roger has his aging genes turned off and slowly grows younger, and he finds love through glorious, adventurous dates in the arms of a cloned, genetically and socially engineered woman, Gwenyth. Roger explores the wonders of the ark and participates in seminars that lead to a new constitution which they hope will save humanity from our current course of extinction. At the conclusion, Roger is involved in a titanic battle for the new planet on land, sea, and air. Finally he explores their new world with his new family.
