Thoughts from the Heart

I must say that adaptability to change is a trait that every teacher must possess in order to endure in the race of education, but more so life. This book of poetry reflects my personal journey as a teacher. In this my chosen profession I can truly say that I have experienced many changes. Some of those changes were challenging but others were indeed fulfilling. In all the changes I have experienced, I can truly say that they have shaped and continue to shape me into the teacher I am today. I have learned that change is one of lifes greatest teachers and as students we must be willing to learn and grow under its teaching. In reading my poems you will be able to see how change has made my teaching career a very fruitful and rewarding one. Perhaps you may even be able to reflect on your own life and embrace your personal experience with change, and how it has shaped you into the individual you are today.
