Three Go Searching

David is the son of missionary parents, and Waffi, an African boy, is David’s best friend. As the two mischievous youths explore the beach they discover a mysterious boat. Does it belong to pirates? Smugglers? When the boys meet Lela, an orphaned servant girl, their lives take a dramatic turn, and they embark on dangerous adventures together. Each of the kids is searching for something important—for faith, for courage, for God’s purpose for their lives. Their quest teaches them what it means to shine the light of Jesus into the world’s dark places.
