Description de l’éditeur

Thumbelina is a tiny girl, who is no bigger than a thumb. Where did she come from? A woman who wanted to have a child was once given a seed by a forest fairy.  A lovely flower grew from the seed, with a little girl inside.  The woman called her Thumbelina. Thumbelina was very tiny, so she had a walnut shell as her bed and a tulip leaf was her playground.  One night, a toad hopped into the house.  Since the toad liked the girl, it took her along with her walnut cradle and fled back to the garden.

What happened next? How did Thumbelina's life go on? Read this compelling story and find out.  The story is beautifully illustrated.
