Tidepools

This short story follows 4 year-old Jimmy Thane and his Grandpa John as they explore the tide pools on a lovely spring day in Laguna Beach, California. The writing in this story is very descriptive and you get a sense of the love Grandpa John has for the ocean.  He tries to teach his young grandson about the ocean and the creatures that live in this tidal area.
