Tilda and the Sixth Mage

In Book 5 of the Chronicles of Issraya, Tilda returns to Merjan City with her new steward, Rurik, and with her Power still locked. Determined to force the other mages to take her seriously, she resumes her Guild and Academy visits. While traveling through the streets of Merjan City, Tilda learns that ordinary Issrayans' want to wield Power  themselves—an idea that came from the one person willing to give it to them: Luisa.

Tilda, needing the truth about the thing that calls itself the sixth and how it's connected to Luisa, works alongside Historykeeper Karolyn to piece together what they can about the existence of a sixth portion of the Power.

Luisa finally confronts Tilda on the doorstep of the Merjanian Magehouse and demands recognition of the sixth portion and to be initiated as its mage.
