The Cadillac area has a rich and interesting history. Timber Town Tales is a gathering of interesting snippets from a number of mostly Pre WWII sources as well as the author's personal life experiences. The reader will gain a sense of the Cadillac area culture as well as a general picture of the remarkable number and high quality of accomplishments during its first 75 years. A wilderness was tamed and an industrial powerhouse emerged that attracted the attention of a nation. Honorable and benevolent men and women who cared deeply about their new community and its citizens planted the seeds and nurtured them into the fine place to live, work and play that countless residents and visitors continue to enjoy today.
