A one-night stand with a sexy stranger has me in over my head and calling time out…
Most of my team celebrated our Monday Night Football win with family and a few drinks. I celebrated mine with a smoking hot brunette.
One wild night of passion, with chemistry off the charts, we had our fun. In the morning, just when I was thinking of asking her for one more night—she bolted faster than I can score a touchdown.
It's my rookie year. I'm breaking records and our team is gearing up to head to the playoffs. A Championship win is the only thing I'm focused on. Until my one-night stand shows up at my doorstep on Christmas Eve and drops a present in my lap that turns my whole word upside down.
Maggie's pregnant. And the baby is mine. My teammate's think she's after my multi-million-dollar contract, but I believe her. Either way, I'm not the kind of guy who walks away from his responsibilities.
Now Maggie's living under my roof and getting under my skin. I want her close so I can take care of her and our future child.
If only I could keep my hands off her, my life would be a hell of a lot less complicated.

4 Stars for the baller and his baby mamma
Davis is just a sweetheart! Even though he is a little bit of a player, he tries to do the right thing ... after all, it's the way he was brought up. I felt so sorry for Maggie to grow up in a community like she did and I was so proud of her for getting out. The electricity between Davis and Maggie could set a book on fire ... hot and steamy! This is a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next book.
Maggie and Davis met at a bar and ended up having a one-night stand. A few weeks later Maggie shows up on Davis's doorstep ... pregnant. Davis's team mates believe that Maggie's a gold digger. After all Davis is in his rookie year in the NFL and this happens to professional athletes all the time. But Davis doesn't believe that Maggie is after his money as she's disappeared in him twice already. Davis is a down home boy and wants to take care of Maggie and their baby. Now all he has to do is get Maggie to agree. Maggie's parents believed that women are there to serve and obey men ... period. Maggie was able to talk her father into letting her go to college so that she could be more helpful with all her younger siblings. But when she got a taste of life outside her parent's home, she never wanted to return. But life has a way of kicking her down time after time ... that is until Davis.

Great Story
Maggie has a wild passionate night with Davis a rookie football player in Nashville. Soon she learns that she is pregnant, jobless and can barely make ends meet and keep her dream of being a singer alive. She confronts him with the news and everything changes for both of them. Maggie is strongly independent and was thrown out by her family because she challenged their beliefs and wanted to make a life for herself as a country singer. Davis is more of a home body and being in Nashville he misses his family but maybe with Maggie and the baby he can have everything he wants? This is a emotionaly charged, heartwarming story with great characters and a great storyline.
