1972 the dead body of the 16 year old Emily Tanner is found at the beach of the quaint coastal town Carpinteria. Despite a search lasting for months, the police of the small town is not able to get onto the offenders. There are three teenage suspects, but as nothing can’t be proofed against them, the case is closed unsolved.

Las Vegas 31 years later

A cruel chain of murders keeps the city and Patty Shore on the jump. Notes that were found near the victims, point to an unsolved homicide case 31 years ago. While the offender always seems to be a step ahead, the suspicion arises that somebody is after the children of Jack, John and Ron, the former suspects. After a bomb attack in a hotel on the Strip, it comes to a breathtaking showdown on the platform of the tower.
