To Our Son Eric..‪.‬

Who is Eric Hansen to be publishing a book. He has three contacts in his phone. Two are doctors. Eric doesn't have a computer. He doesn't have a YouTube channel or even Facebook. So why should anyone listen to what he has to say?


It used to not be this way for Eric. A loving family with Christian values. Eric was a good athlete. Eric had a great work ethic. Eric volunteered as a coach. He absolutely loved coaching young people. He dedicated his life to helping people!


Then while working one day he received a call. From that day forward Eric's life went on a destructive spiral that destroyed his life. He lost everything! His family, community and livelihood.


This book explains how Eric went from a respected man and coach to where he is now. You will hear of his incredible recovery from opiate addiction and obesity while managing his depression by himself. You will also learn of how Eric managed to accomplish this feat while having major orthopedic issues.


He is as simple as it gets. People said he reminded them of John Candy the actor. Just a big teddy bear always smiling. Eric wasn't always a teddy bear. Eric is one of the most competitive persons you will ever meet. In sports or work Eric wanted to be the best. You will never see him wearing a backpack. His former players would tell you he hates Facebook. Eric was like millions of other Americans going to work everyday doing their best!
